Erik WEYLS is appointed Executive Vice President North America for SOCOMORE Surface Preparation / Treatment & Coatings activities, effective from December 4 2024.
He joins Socomore with 30 plus years of experience in the specialty chemical industry.

Erik WEYLS, 58 years old, started his career in 1988 with MacDermid Inc spending the majority of his time managing various businesses in Germany and the UK. Weyls joined the French group Coventya SAS in 2007 as an executive and one its lead investors ultimately becoming CEO. Coventya was sold to Element Solutions Inc. ( NYSE: ESI ) in late 2021. Weyls is a graduate of Hiram College with degrees in Economics and German Languages.
