These wipes are designed for surface preparation operations prior to the application of paint, adhesives, and sealants. The solvent used in these wipes is 70% VOC and is known for its controlled volatility and mild odor. DIESTONE DLV wipes provide a safer alternative to traditional solvents, being free from chlorinated hydrocarbons. They effectively reduce hazards and fire risks in workshops while maintaining high cleaning efficiency. With a significant reduction in VOC emissions and a flash point of 49°C (120.2°F), these wipes are particularly safe to use. They are highly effective for cleaning and degreasing metallic and composite surfaces before painting, bonding, and sealing, and they are noncorrosive to metals, including light alloys.
