DIESTONE DLV is a 70% VOC multi-purpose cleaning solvent designed for use in surface preparation operations prior to paint, bond, and sealant application. This solvent composition is characterized by its controlled volatility and weak odor. It is free from chlorinated hydrocarbons, making it a safer alternative to traditional solvents. DIESTONE DLV effectively reduces hazards and fire risks in workshops while maintaining high cleaning efficacy. It offers a significant reduction in VOC emissions compared to traditional solutions, with a flash point of 49°C (120.2°F), enhancing safety during use. This solvent is highly effective for cleaning and degreasing metallic and composite surfaces before painting, bonding, and sealing, and it is noncorrosive on metals, including light alloys.
