SOCOBLADE LEP 220 Overview
The SOCOBLADE LEP 220 is a high-performance leading-edge protection coating designed specifically for wind turbine blades. This rollable two-component coating is perfect for applying on new blades as a preventive measure or on damaged blades as a repair solution. Optimized to protect against rain, sand, hail, and other particle erosion, it ensures the extended life of wind blades. The leading edge protection can be applied in 2 coats or 3 coats.
Recommended for use in hot and dry environments, with relative humidity as low as 10%, SOCOBLADE LEP 220 features a topcoat in gray RAL 7035.
SOCOBLADE LEP 220 Key Features

- Allows for recoating after 20-40 minutes of drying, with no sanding needed between coats if applied within 24 hours.

Available format of SOCOBLADE LEP 220
ANTI-EROSION COATING SOCOBLADE LEP 220 is available in two format kit:
- A 2-layer kit containing 1 basecoat + 1 topcoat (~ 170 μm)
- A 3-layer kit containing 1 basecoat + 2 topcoats ( ~ 250 μm), providing a superior performance erosion protection

Each SOCOBLADE LEP 220 kit is sold with the following components:
- 1 base coat of SOCOBLADE LEP 220 Part A + Part B cans
- 1 or 2 SOCOBLADE LEP 220 topcoat Part A + Part B cans (depending on 2 or 3 layers kit)
- 1 can opener tool for easy lid removal of SOCOBLADE LEP 220 can
- Wooden & plastic stirring tools for thorough mixing
- 1 box of 10 premium foam rollers for smooth application
